The Durrells’ Corfu — Where the Stories Meet the Landscape

Duration: approximately 4.5 hours

A calm, story-led experience following real filming locations from The Durrells, combined with landscape, context, and Corfu’s quieter side.
Designed for guests who enjoy literature, film, and seeing the island through narrative rather than classic sightseeing.

From € 600 per private tour

Final pricing depends on group size, duration, and pickup point.

This experience follows real locations connected to The Durrells series and the family’s time in Corfu, combining scenic driving, short stops, and storytelling at an unhurried pace.

The route begins in Corfu Town, passing areas used for filming and offering context on how the town was represented on screen. It continues toward Kanoni, where Strawberry Pink Villa and the house of Spiros the taxi driver are viewed from a distance as part of the natural drive.

Along the way, the Durrell family home at Daffodil Yellow Villa is seen from the road, as stopping is not possible. A separate filming location allows for a brief exterior photo stop outside the gate. The tour then continues along the northeast coast to Kalami, with time at the White House, the former home of Lawrence Durrell, overlooking the bay.

An optional visit to Danilia Village, the replica village built for filming purposes, can be added depending on interest and timing.
